I have a B.S. degree in Wildlife Biology ( 1979) and Range Science (1982) from Utah State University. Worked as a Range Conservationist and Botanist for the Forest Service for 10 years. Retired with a disability in 1997 due to a seizure disorder. |
My family:
I have been married for 25 year to Julie whom I met at college getting my degree in Range Science. My daughter Jasmine was adopted in China in 2004 from the Jiangxi province of China. My wife is now the Deputy Forest Supervisor on the Bitterroot National Forest in Montana. |
Life experiences:
I was a police officer in Kansas for two years. Worked for different Federal Agencies as a Range Technician doing Plant Identification on Rangelands in Nevada, Colorado and Idaho till I got on full time in 1988. From 1988 to 1997 I was a Range Conservationist and Botanist for the Forest Service full time till my seizure in 1997. |
